补焊机是指能够在瞬间(ms级)将焊接能量释放于某个较小范围(1mm2),使补材完全熔接于工件上。工件整体上发热很小，因此可以避免传统焊接的变形、裂纹、变色等缺点，特别适合修补精细工件和不能进行高温焊接的工件。在细小缺陷的修复领域，冷焊机、模具修复机也称为补焊机
